Welcome to the Go Gainsborough website. Here you will find details of the many community groups, clubs and activities in Gainsborough. Just a quick reminder that some groups only meet up in term time.
The Parish team have a series of services over the Easter period. All are welcome.
Tues 22nd April. "Cuppa with a Copper." Drop in for a chat with your local PCSOs. If you have any concerns about your neighbourhood, they are there to listen. 10am - 11.30am at Gainsborough Library.
Tuesday 29th April. Are you, or do you know of anyone affected by Parkinson's? Parkinson's UK would like to meet you and hear your story so they can shape their future plans around clients needs. Join them at Thornock Golf Club from 1pm - 3pm.
All are welcome to Gainsborough Town Council's Annual Assembly. There will be presentations from organisations serving our town (others to be announced later). Thursday May 8th. Starts 6pm at Marshalls Sports Ground, Middlefield Lane.
Following on from their successful Family Fun Day at The Levellings last year the Connexions folk are now planning their next one in July. If you or your group would like to take part please email b.hughes@connexionshub.co.uk or message via the Connexions Community Hub Facebook.
There are many green groups in our town and surrounding villages. As well as the health benefits of being outdoors joining in is a great way of making new friends and sharing ideas. If you are looking for an allotment do try Gainsborough Town Council who oversee five sites around Gainsborough. Details of allotments and other green groups can be found on the All Things Green page.
If gardening and flowers are your thing there are clubs in town and in the surrounding villages. All are open to new members and cost very little to join. Details of these clubs and other green groups are on the All Things Green page.
Not quite confident enough to start off on your own? Greener Gainsborough is a great place to learn more. Join them in their allotment and build up your confidence and skills. All welcome. Details of this group and other green groups are on the All Thins Green page.
Interested in local wildlife? Gainsborough has its own branch of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and holds regular monthly indoor and outdoor meetings. Details of this group and other green groups are on the All Thins Green page.
