***Macmillan Coffee Morning*** Please support this fundraising event organised by the Gainsborough Cancer Support Group. There will be lots of cake, a raffle and plenty of chat! 10am - 12am at The Venue, Roses Sports Ground in North Warren Road. All are very welcome!
Join Bill & Kate from the Stepping Stone Theatre for Mental Health in an uplifting celebration of World Mental Health Day on Friday Oct 10th. There will be presentations of songs, poems and readings from the group. Do you live in the South West Ward? Have you got some local concerns? A new resident's group is starting up - the first meeting will take place at 11am on Sat Aug 16th at the Connexions Hub, 100 Church Street. Have a chat and a cuppa with your local town councillors. Print It and Pass It On!
***New for the GoGainsborough! website.*** Although this website has many visitors each month there are still people out there who miss out on what is happening in Gainsborough because they are not connected to the Internet or engage in Social Media.
Please spare a thought for these individuals who are becoming increasingly disconnected from their community.
With this in mind there are now information sheets available for each page of this website. The sheets are simple lists providing details of group activities, meeting times and contact details.
If you know of anyone who is not online but may be interested in joining any of the groups please email gainsboroughgo@gmail.com stating which list you need and it will be emailed back to you for you to print off and pass on. Thank you!

Sat 6th to Sat 20th September. Exhibition "A Tale of Two Thomases". Researched & written by Helen Hagon, this exhibition is part of Gainsborough WordFest 2025 and is on show at Gainsborough library during opening hours.
Tues 9th September. "Take the Next Step in Your Learning Journey." Drop in and find details of courses and opportunities available to you. 9.30am - 12.00pm Gainsborough Library.
Sat 13th Sept. "Blast Off to Planet Fun". Children's interactive space workshop led by author Jane Keightley. 10.30am - 12.30pm at Gainsborough Library.
